Euroclash! is a volunteer-led project that relies on the efforts of passionate amateurs. As a site we welcome contributions from anyone, regardless of previous experience. Euroclash! officially launches in 2015 and are currently searching for new members of our growing team.

Euroclash! is searching for volunteer news writers based in Europe to write various stories on a huge range of topics from across Europe.
News writers will be tasked with sourcing and writing news stories from their own country as well as across broader Europe. Stories will cover a range of topics but will aim to focus on news from areas often overlooked by the mainstream medial; including LGBT+ topics, women’s rights and ethnic minorities.
This is an unpaid volunteer position ideal for a student or amateur writer with a passion for international issues looking to gain professional experience.
No previous experience is required and all candidates will be considered. English fluency is not a requirement but a good-level of understanding and the ability to work with our editors would be an advantage.
Euroclash! is currently searching for a passionate volunteer to help guide the future of our site as our Photo Editor.
Duties of the photo editor will include building a group of talented and dedicated photographers to contribute to the site as well as working with Euroclash’s editors to devise new and interesting photofeatures.
Previous experience in an editorial role is not necessary, but a good knowledge of photography would be an advantage. This is a distance-working role but candidates based within Europe will be given priority.
Arts and culture editor
Euroclash! is currently searching for one or two dedicated and passionate volunteers to help run and guide our new arts and culture section.
Duties of successful candidates will include sub-editing arts and culture articles contributed to the site, as well as contacted and building a team of volunteer writers.
No previous experience is necessary, but a good knowledge of the arts and an ability to find new and interesting artists before anyone else would be a huge advantage. Candidates must also be based in Europe and have a working knowledge of the English language (though fluency is not required).
Arts, culture, film and music writers
Euroclash! is currently looking for a number of arts, culture and music writers to contribute articles to our new cultural sections.
Writers for our new sections will write news, reviews, features and opinions on a range of cultural topics focused on European and non-mainstream areas, as well as coverage on some global themes.
Previous experience in a similar role is not required, though successful candidates must have a genuine passion for their chosen area. To apply please email email@example.com with some information about yourself and your area of interest: film, music or art.
Please note, this is an unpaid distance-working role. Candidates must be based in Europe and have a good level of English. (Fluency is not required).
We are currently searching for a committed volunteer to help build and run our music section, which will feature reviews, news and special features on music from in and around Europe, focusing especially on alternative musicians and new directions in music.
The successful candidate will be in charge of writing and sub-editing articles and working with the Euroclash! team to run special features for the site’s music section. Currently planned features also include a small number of video and audio features.
Previous experience in an editorial role is not required, but candidates with a good knowledge of current music will be given priority.
Bloggers and opinion writers
Euroclash! is currently looking for a number of dedicated volunteers to write regular blogs and opinion pieces for our new site. Successful candidates will have a specialised knowledge of their chosen area and be able to write well-informed and passionate pieces for the blog.
As part of Euroclash’s vision we aim to share news and features from different groups overlooked by the mainstream media and so especially welcome submissions from ethnic, religious and sexual minorities from within Europe.
We are especially eager to here from writers connected to the following areas:
- LGBT+ issues
- Women’s rights and gender equality
- Ethnic and/or religious minorities
- Non-European groups within Europe
- Political fringe and minority groups
- Other groups represented political or cultural issues underrepresented in the mainstream media
No previous experience is necessary, but successful candidates will ideally be based in Europe and have a working knowledge of the English language.
As well as regular contributors we also welcome one-off submissions for publication.
Euroclash! is currently searching for a number of talented volunteers to contribute original photography for news reports and features for our new site.
Photo contributors must be based in Europe and have rights to the work they submit.
We welcome submissions of single images or proposals for series and features.
